I don't think anybody runs any of the OEM 18s

LOL.
Sure they do. My 340i Msport is running the 18" OEM Msport wheels, just like my 335i Msport did. I tried a 335i Msport with the BMW 19's and the ride quality sucked big time even on smooth ashphalt. The RFT's in 19" gave a jarring reaction to even the smallest of road cracks and imperfections. For the street I'll take the 18's every time. The trend towards larger and larger wheels has gone crazy. People complain about the sportiness decrease in modern BMW's, yet they seem to have no problems with increasing unsprung weight. Un-sprung weight directly and negatively affects the cars acceleration, braking, and handling. Looking good is not better than actually feeling and doing good. |

The only reason I really ask this question is because I have some ISS-Forged wheels ad they wee custom made for my E90. Then that car took a sh*t on me so I wanted to use them on my f30. They are bit aggressive but I was just thinking are they to small.

My OEM rims, as well as my winter setup (also OEM-style rims) are both 18s.
I'm assuming that you meant to inquire about people running 18" aftermarket rims.

Agree completely. 18 square setup is awesome. If looks are more important than ride, then it might be a different answer. For me, looks will never get in the way of function. Used to matter. Doesn't matter anymore. |

I would like to switch to 18s but can't find anything I like. The Apex EC7 and ARC8 are really the only choices I am leaning towards.
