I will. I turned into a wuss after riding on BC racing coil-overs on my former car for over 40k miles. I am being very cautious when it comes to suspension this time around. That's why I opted for Dinan springs as opposed to H&Rs and now opting for Koni yellows instead of Bilsteins. I drive a lot and I don't track my car. It's my daily driver. The adjustability feature of the Koni's gives me peace of mind.

I've never seen the M-shock taken off, but the construction of the non-M is so the shaft sits in the middle of its travel range, so the damper is like two-way dampening without the load. The Bilstein same as Koni are one-way without the load, which means the gas support pushes the shaft all the way out with no load.

Something weird is happening to my ride. After the suspension settled, the ride is a lot harsher now. When the roads are bad, it is pretty uncomfortable. I had it checked and seem everything is in order including the alignment. I am thinking of removing the F32 rear braze and go back to stock to see if the comfort level improves. I am now wondering if the stock MSport springs is not compatible to the B6s.
Anyone here have similar experience? |

So I finally had the Koni Yellows installed and have put over 200 miles on them. OMG! I love the my car so much now!! The ride is out of this world. I have the fronts set at 270 degrees from full soft and the rears set at 180 degrees from full soft. The ride is firm for sure and also rigid cause of the AFE front and rear sway bars, but very very composed and comfortable. All the bounce is totally gone and and the car corners with ZERO body roll. Steering response is more immediate, razor sharp and precise. I drive with both hands on the steering wheel now..lol. If you are considering Koni Yellows, go for it. Paired with Dinan springs, it's just amazing!

Great thread! I too am interested in getting the ACS with B6 setup installed. So I'm excited to see all the rave reviews here.
But, I read a few members were told that the front B6s DON'T need the bumpstops. Is that OK? I know the rears get reused with the B6s. Will there be serious damage if you bottom out the front suspension? Thanks a lot, folks! |

Give it some 3000km of break-it to get to its nominal damping characteristics.

It get's better and better! It's just a slight pain taking the rears off the car and adjusting them and putting them back on the car. The fronts are easy open hood; place knob on strut top hat and adjust. Takes 15 seconds. I am just happy I have the choice to adjust the dampers.

Ok so finally got my Dinan/B6 combo installed just as everyone stated car is very tight no more floating feel but damn do you feel every single bump. Not sure if it's the run flats but have to say was not expecting the ride so stiff. Drop seems on par with T4NZ4NIT3 335i picture hoping the front goes down a little more will update review more once I get me summer tires on.

Is the ACS/B6 setup just for X-Drives? The Bilstein UK guy told me that for my 330d S-Drive I need B8s with the ACS springs...

Were you able to figure out what happened to cause the ride to become so harsh? I'm considering a similar setup |

Things seem to have settled. I didn't change the top mount as they were still ok. I played with various tire pressure to get optimum ride when I was on 19" rim set up. It helps to optimize tire pressure to handling and ride comfort.
