15 335i sedan creaking sound from rear seat area (very annoying)
I have a 15 335i with about 4500 miles on it and I am not sure if the sounds I am hearing is just part of the car or something that need stop be fixed.
The best way I can explain this would be a sound of the leather rubbing slowly but forcibly against what sound like the plastic of the rear pillars. This sound happen whenever the car is driving over an uneven section of road, very obvious when entering or exiting driveways. I tried driving with the rear seats down and it didn't change anything. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? |

It's a fairly common problem for F30's to develop creaking noises between the shadowline trim and the door seals. Here's one thread that addresses it with Teflon tape as outlined in the service bulletin. http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1210175
Search on "creaking" and you'll find quite a few other solutions. |
