2014 N55 JB4, revs bouncing in 2nd gear?? MAF unplugged

Did a hard 1st-2nd pull this morning and the car acted very strange. At the top of 2nd gear around 5500RPM the revs were bouncing 500rpm, as this was happening I could hear intake go pshh-pshh as if I was dumping boost and then respooling. Has anyone experienced this?

I had something similar happen a week a go and I unplugged my MAF sensor from research I could find when running BMS intake. The car seemed to run much better with MAF unplugged.

I'll try to capture some logs if I can recreate the issue. Thanks

is traction control turned off? car could be spinning and fuel will be cut once car senses slipping.

Before I did the pull I was in comfort mode and then held traction control button down for 10 secs or so until I saw the DCS off light up on dash.

It did feel very much like fuel was cutting... maybe I didn't hold button down long enough...

This has happened to me twice now since my initial post. It is definitely not traction control cutting power.

Under hard acceleration the motor cuts out at 5k drops about 500 rpm and then comes back. It goes through cycle fairly quickly, typically 3 times before I realize what's happening and get off throttle.

Maybe an issue with fuel pump?

Switch back to stock intake and see if that still happens.
