Can I code a non-lumbar car to accept a lumbar seat?
So I bought a non-premium package seat and regretted it. The lack of lumbar support was killing my back, so I went and found a new seat in a junkyard. The new seat has lumbar and heated seats, which my current seat doesn't have.
The question is, can the new seat be bolted directly to the car? I've been told that the car is not coded to support lumbar/heated seats, is there a way to code it so the lumbar can be enabled? I understand there's no button for the heated seats and I'm fine with that. |

I didn"t think the seat heating or lumbar function required any coding. As long as you having the necessary wiring harness that already included the connection for those functions and that you have the buttons for the heat on your center console, I think you're Ok.
