What he is saying is that pre-2017, maintenance was 4/50, and pretty much all encompassing; 2017+ it's 3/36 but not brakes or wipers, but he believes the new 3/36 plan covers air filters.

I think air filters are covered as that is not considered wear and tear and is part of the maintenance schedule while wipers and brakes aren't on the maintenance schedule and you replace those when they wear out (though I get wipers every year even if they aren't worn out). The previous maintenance plan also included this "wear and tear" items coverage, but doesn't include tires.

This link has a table to compare 4/50 versus 3/36, so micro filter and air filter are still included, but wiper insert/brake pads and rotors/drive belts/clutch are not.

Just received an email from BMW that both of my rebates have been approved. Just have to wait 6-12 weeks now to received the gift cards but im cool with that
