Im also interested to see some photos of the 17inch styling sport line rims.

I have ordered a 3 series with these wheels but havent been able to spot the wheels in real life.

I too have ordered a 320d sports line with the standard 17 inch wheels without ever seeing what they will look like. My car gets delivered on the 11th and will post pictures then

Thanks for this. I'm glad I didn't get the 18 inch upgrade, those 17 inch look great to me, understated yet sophisticated. That's the British way

I've been dying to see a live picture of this! Even though it looks good, I still don't see it as being a sporty rim at all!! It looks very ordinary. But the optional 18" (standard in some markets) looks very sporty! Why couldn't they have made it the same shiny colour as the 18"???

Nice.
Those wheels look better than the standard black painted 18's on the sport line 328i and 335i.

I'm not really a fan of the black painted/silver wheels on the standard sport line. Why are the wheel styles so limited this time? And, what's with the black painted inside spokes? It's more Pontiac like than BMW.
The optional 19's on the 335i look like the wheels that should be standard on the sport line 3. In fact, the optional 19's look nearly identical to the painted 18's, yet BMW wants $1900 MORE to get staggered tires.
What's with the limited wheels styles, and the lack of sport design?

While I personally like the 18's and 19's better, I got to say the 17's look a lot better than I initially thought they would.

18" wheels are standart for 328i and 335i with sport/luxury/modern line
if you can get lower models like 320i/d in US you can get 17" line wheels as standart

Gheez guys. In Netherlands (europe) the basic f30 is delivered on low resistance 16" rims. This is to make the car fit the the lowest emission class which has a certain taxation advantage in netherlands. 17" inch and above is optional.

The lines are delivered with 17" rims. 18" and higher is optional for the lines and expensive here.

Anyway, i ordered mine with 17" style 392 from the sportline and thats ok. Need to draw the line somewhere :-)

In South Africa, the basic 320i and 320d come with 16" and the basic 328i and 335i come with 17". The sport/luxury/modern line for the 320i and 320d come standard with 17" and you can upgrade to 18" or 19". The sport/luxury/modern line for the 328i and 335i come standard with 18" and can upgrade to 19". Obviously as you move up in model, the prices of the upgrade-rims become cheaper too.

When looking into 17" rims personnaly I think that I prefer the multispoke styling 413 or 414 over the sport wheel styling 392. It seems that the multispokes 413/414 look bigger duento their design.

Anyone seen pictures already of the 413/414 style wheels in real life?

I agree but I currently have 17 inch multi spoke alloys on my current car. They look nice but they are a bugger to wash! So many crevices....

During travelling today in Denmark I ran into a BMW with 17" sport line rims (styling 392)

Some other photos as well of 17" modern line rims:
