Really hoping somebody will be able to help me on here.

Ive finally just got my car on the road i had to replace the front end panels in front of radiator and a new passenger headlight and the drl module on the
top. all the light parts were direct form bmw.

Since doing this it was fine for a few hours but now on heavy braking or while sitting still i get a whole load of headlight errors and the idrive mostly turns off and back on. I have installed e-sys and ista + and im currently trying to see if i can code in the new pieces.

When i read ecu have no FlE its only there when i read VCM. all the instructions so far ive read from the forums my coding knowledge is about zero.

when i read with ista the idrive tends to go off and sometimes get a load of fault codes that i think are only related to the idrive going off

im really keen to get her back on the road now and get out of the volvo ive been driving.

It looks like you might be having some wiring or communication issue. Start by coding the modules. Do ista test plan and see what it says

Apparently they can only be coded on bmws online portal is this correct?

Doesnt need online. Did you check all the wiring after replacing the front end?

I had a mechanic do the install of bumper and light. ive driven the car a bit today and now im getting less codes but it has left me more confused. i think the light code is related to puddle lights that throw a bmw on the floor when opening the door. headlight fault is still intermittent but idrive hasnt been turning off.

Confirm if the lights are correct. Or you can try flashing them using esys.

For interior lights, was anything replaced regarding the lights?

Nothings changed accept new complete bumper with fogs and pdc left headlight, left drl moudle. I'm going to try and get headlight fault back today. My full beams one is a lot higher than the other one which I'm not thinking is normal.
