So as I'm heading home today from a birthday party with my family I see a brand new 435i xdrive m sport in EB a few car lengths ahead. From the back I could tell it had the driver assistance package and the navigation installed. 19's as well. This person picked a beautiful car. Was planning on rolling up next to him or her and give them the thumbs up/nice car acknowledgememt

Pulled alongside and it was some lady clearly In her mid to late 60's driving ... And her passenger what appears to be her 90' ish year old mom.

Gotta giver her credit....spent her retirement money/social security checks rather nicely.

Ok.. Just thought I'd share it. Needless to say the cars we all love here span quite the vast demographic of people's.

pulled right along side of her.... no eye contact what so ever... gave the thumbs up but she didn't even glance in my direction. she was probably thinking... "noob prolly wants to race... aint nobody got time fo dat"

We old folks like to have fun with our B’s also. I’m 67 and although I don’t smoke tires, I’ll drive as fast as the car in front will allow until there is a crack in the traffic and I’ll paddle shift in and get on with it. To me it’s about having fun getting there although I sometimes forget where I am going. HEHE! I love the look of kids faces if they catch up to me at a light and see white hair! And the other grey hair in the car next to me is a chick I have been with for 30 years.

Oh, and Social Security just about covers the gas, insurance and tickets.

Awesome story man.

The other day I spotted an older Asian lady wearing a large face visor in a stunning Orion Silver Metallic 328i Luxury Line on 18" 416s. She was driving casually a few cars ahead, so I had to make some daring moves to get up beside her. One I did I was honking and signaling to her to roll her window down so we could pull over and chat F30s and tell her about this community. Unfortunately right then, I think she needed to get somewhere in a rush because she frantically sped off and got away from me.

Old guys rule! I'm 66 and have driven fast cars since I was old enough to afford one; started hot-rodding and building engines before I was old enough for a license. I still work full-time, although after I retire next year I'll likely do consulting work to support my car habit!

Yeah but what you missed was there was a helmet hanging from the hook in the back seat and her fire retardant suit was laying underneath.
