M sport suspension

Is there any real difference between the M Sport suspension and the Sport Line suspension? Does it stiffen the ride at all?

As far as I have read they are the same components.

The M sport has different break pads, I think that is really the only “handling” difference.

The M Sport also comes with staggered, light weight 18" alloys with summer performance tires. This is a major upgrade over the standard square set-up with all seasons that are found on the Sport line or Luxury line.

For Canadian buyers, the Adaptive M Suspension is only offered with the 335i M Sport package, as are the optional M Sport brakes.

This is true! Slipped my mind...because I would never be able to live without mixed tires. Don’t remember the last time my tires weren’t mixed lol

Although you don’t need the M Sport Package for staggered wheels anymore!

In the US I believe they are the same.

In NZ and AU Sport Line is just a trim level and the suspension is standard -- and is overly soft and has considerable body-roll imo.

In Hong Kong, Sportline and MSport models both come with M Sport suspension as standard (not adaptive)

Incorrect. If you order from the factory, you can get the adaptive M suspension on the Sport line in Canada. This is what I did. After 6,000 kilometers, I'm enjoying it, almost always running in "sport" or "sport +." I was worried it wouldn't be tight enough for me, like my E90 with sport suspension, which I absolutely loved. But it's great. And with the 300-horse turbo straight six and staggered 19-inch performance rubber, the 3 is so light on its feet, nimble and responsive, essentially a sports car with four doors.

Sport and M Sport suspensions are the same thing, item 704 in the ordering guide.

If you want a different suspension you have to get the, Adaptive M Suspension, which only comes in the, ZDH Dynamic Handling Package. Otherwise the sportsline and M sports share the same suspension.

I'm down here in the lower-forty eight and your recommendation works me.
