SJ00's Mod diary. BC Forged + M-Performance + More
Hey guys, when I bought my car, I realised my car just isn't up to par with you guys, I never imagined in my wildest dreams I would spend this much time and money
I thought it was about time i make a thread on my mods My mods so far: General Opticoat Tint LIVUE LB100 dash cam Exterior BC Forged HB09 M-Sport Black Kidney Grilles M-sport body kit (front, side, rear) M-Performance rear diffuser M-Performance front splitters M-Performance side foils M-Performance twin exhaust retrofit Eibach Lowering Springs Rear spoiler Roof spoiler Roof painted black Painted calipers (black) Philips silver vision (to be replaced with LED sometime) Personalised plates Custom LED angel eyes Remapped m5 replica wheels (temp.) November 2012 February 2013 Got the bodykit painted and installed The small mods in between with BMW Centrecap August 2013 Finally lowered on Eibach lowering springs Really loving the stance, should get lowered another 1cm as it settles. Will report any long term issues if any arise, but so far, its riding really good, only slightly stiffer than stock Final Pics before my splitters get installed, after a car wash the other day Just a through, I didn't know lowering the car will make such a big difference, I got more compliments because of lowering than I did for anything else, should have done it long time ago. September 2013 Couldnt get the time to shoot with a dslr, but here are some pics at my local golf course.. most mods are done, just have to think about my headlights August 2015 Coming: Wagner Intercooler DPF delete

I SALUTE YOU! AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! By far the nicest white F30 I have seen in all of F30Post in my opinion!
Spoil us with pictures!! I mean really you went all out on her so show her off!! I highly recommend buying the H&R Sport Springs from TireRack.com! They are awesome and not a trashy drop. I just ordered my complete oem M Sport package kit from GETBMWPARTS.Com How much were you charged for paint and install? Love your wheels. Have yet to see those! Thanks Thanks I really wanted something no one had on the f30, i regret getting 2 tone though, it makes the rims look rather small Quote:
The paint and install was $1852.40, but keep in mind, im in Australia. I hear you should be able to get yours done for around 1200-1500 over there in the US.

thanks
one general question for you guys, I got a quote of $546aud ($490USD) to install the m-performance splitter and vinyl side foil (not installing side splitter, already have the rear diffuser) is it just me or if the install ridiculously overpriced?? im not painting or anything like that, just installing it bare. the DIY manual seems to indicate 3 hours install time for all m-performance parts: splitter, side splitter, side foil, diffuser please let me know how much you guys paid/how much i should be paying to get this done. attached is my quote:

If you DIY it, it should take you 4 hrs max; and the cost is no more than 70 bucks. I had a friend installed and painted for 200 front and rear. He said was pretty straight forward.
Tip:use 3M tape instead of adhesive. |
