BTW, I'm 99.9% sure that having it installed at the dealer also gives the full warranty. (If you're leasing, however, the port install will cause the residual value to reflect the PPK.)
Thanks for the info. I'm buying rather than leasing. I think, however, I will contact the Sales Manager and see if they will discount pkg to $1500. I still have several weeks to decide. I really don't have a problem with the power of the stock 3.0, but when can one have too much power?

My 335 GT arrived at the departure port and is awaiting transport. Wonder how long before it gets underway!

Use your VIN in the link I posted to check if you are booked on a liner. The Independence II is scheduled to set sail tomorrow, so your car should be booked by now if if it's going to be on it.

Sorry. Should have mentioned that I tried that link w/ the VIN and came back as no record found so apparently not heading out tomorrow. So I take it cars don't just sit at the departure port to long before they ship out. I'll keep trying the link to see when it finally gives me something.

Waiting definitely sucks...I have to guess you're booked on the Don Juan already though. Mine was booked on the 6th of January and the boat set sail January 13th, but I don't think my VIN pulled anything on WW's tracking site until it got the "Received At Terminal" status on January 10th. Keep checking the VIN over the next couple days, it should eventually return a status.

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I picked up my glacier silver M sport 335i GT one week ago today. I'll post pictures and comments after a few more weeks of driving it, so I can make more meaningful comments. So far so good though!!

Talking

Finally. Picked her up yesterday and man is she sweet looking/handling. Very happy w/ the GT and color/trim choices. The mineral gray/coral red/hex alum looks very nice. Now just a window tint, hardwire the detector and all done!

Congratulations!! I know it was a loonng wait. Mine is on the Honor, which is scheduled to dock in Baltimore on April 27. I'm having the MPPG installed at port, so I'm guessing I'll be getting mine the 2nd week of May. I almost went with the Mineral Gray/coral. It really does look sweet. Finally decided on Glacier Silver/coral. Having the car tinted is also on my "To Do List".

Really, it looks great! What a great time to get a new car; summer is the best time to enjoy it.

Thanks. It was a LONG wait but worth it. Mine arrived in Baltimore on 4/4 so it was another 11 days before it was ready for pickup @ the dealer. The glacier silver w/ coral will look great too. I almost didn't go w/ the Coral Red thinking it may be a tad much but my wife actually thought the CR w/ Hex Alum would look great so glad I went w/ that choice. Enjoy your wen you get it & post pics!
