Whatever happened to hydrogen being the future? I thought Honda launched such a car in America that was 'supposed' to one day kill fossil fuelled cars.

Prius don't use Li-Ion, well they are starting too, but only recently in the plug in Hybrid's.

A bottle of Perrier water should do the trick. It is nice to chat to F30 fans from across the pond. What do you guys think of xdrive in the 3-series? We are only just getting it and it splits opinion.

Xdrive is totally region dependent. Here in Texas (or in any southern state), it is superfluous. But I know in the north, it appears to be must-have.

Yes you can definitely make the car sail. So far in eco pro mode it will sail if driving less than 45 mph. Maybe a few mph faster. The manual says it can go for around 2.5 miles. I have not gone that fear yet. As far as diesels go I have a x5 35d, 2010. It gets around 32 mpg on the highway if driven at reasonable speeds. It as a great range on long trips. The engine is incredible strong once its going. Not bad off the line either. For a big heavy truck it moves fast

I'm coming from M3 -> AH3, too. Kinda crazy how fun much the torque is! What kind of mileage have you been getting?

In eco pro mode its definitely sluggish. In comfort mode its quick. In sport mode its fast. The handling is good but I can feel the difference in weight between the e90 and this car. Its a good balance between luxury and sport. The e90 was more of a sports car though.
30mpg in the city is awesome! Let us know how you go once the car has run in.
