Speed limit display

Hi guys,
I've got an Australian delivered 2015 F30.

I've was wondering whether its possible to enable the Speed limit feature on my car (original options list below). I understand BMW has a feature to pick up speed limit signs from the road or even based on my navigation system and project the speed limit on my screen and my HUD. At the moment, i dont see the speed limit displayed anywhere and I often have to second guess what the speed limit is on a road if i miss the sign (unlike my retro Garmin gps).

On a seperate note, I wonder if its possible to retrofit the actice cruise control?

SLI from Nav via emulator:

Or FSC code for full capability via KAFAS2 and Nav.

If you can talk BMW Australia into selling you an FSC code?

Thanks for your quick reply.

I'm quite new to BMW and now confused with some of the things you've mentioned. Lol... i.e. Emulator? FSC code?

Would really appreciate if you could elaborate on them?

Update: Ok - Found out what KASAS is... It's the camera. How will i know if I have the camera. I have lane assist, if that indicates anything... There also seems to be a camera behind my rear view cam.

Cheers.

Welcome

You have lots of reading to do and most answers to your questions are here in the forum. Buy a ENET cable from eBay (I got mine from a guy in Sydney) and read the coding threads.

SLI wasn't available in Australia when I bought my car (may have changed) so any sort of retrofit option is a bit of a "hack". BMW will clearly not enable it but the emulator shows the speed limit from the nav map presuming that it is actually there on the map. No one has posted their experience in OZ yet.

P.S. Maybe move this to the AU forum

I've ordered a cable and am intenting to try some coding (still worried about bricking or screwing up though).
