N20 Maintenance at 100K - oil filter housing gasket

Surprise, another oil filter housing gasket "seeping". Does anyone have a DIY for the housing gasket on an N20? I've looked and cannot find one. I'm guessing it's similar to N55 but different. The vehicle is actually a 2015 X3 but I'm posting here because I figured I might get more responses. Also, any other recommended maintenance at this mileage. Took it in for a vehicle check and was shocked that nothing was recommended other than doing the ofhg, not even plugs and I'm pretty sure they've never been changed.

Thanks!

Are you sure it's the gasket and not a cracked housing. Is your oil slightly grey or milky looking? If you still have the original plastic housing, that has been a failure point. see: https://bmwtechnician.com/2015/12/15...ousing-update/ Also there appears to be a SIB issued against the plastic housing: N20/N26 plastic oil filter housing recall SIB 11 13 15 I don' know the range of the vehicles affected or the actual text of the SIB, but the dealer will: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=951692 As you still under warranty?

Yes. I know what you're talking about, that affected earlier models 2012-2013.
Luckily ours was made after they fixed that brilliant engineering decision.
