F30 Bluetooth Audio not working after iOS 17.3.1 Update
About two months ago I turned on bluetooth audio on my car using BimmerCode app and instructions from another thread. Aside from the noticeable delay in the audio, it worked perfectly and made me a happy little boy. How do I fix this issue? Anyone else experiencing this?
On 2/24/24 Apple pushed an update to my phone and now audio will not come through. iTunes shows that it is playing through my car, and the car head unit shows that Bluetooth audio is connected to my phone. When the car is started, the head unit diplays "No disc..." as it has defaulted to CD as my audio connection. I've seen another thread mentioning holding the power button for 90 seconds to "reset the telemetrics" but I assume that advice is for cars that came with bluetooth audio standard. 2014 BMW 320i, iPhone 11 |

Try on another car. Your HU hard drive may be going bad.
Try another phone. No go? Then, disconnect battery 30 mins. No go? VO code back to original specs. Last resort: re-flash HU with firmware.
