Hi guys

I bought low mileage F20 seats
Identical to that i have in my F30

Full electrical
Memory
Heated


Driver side after retrofit works fine
I switched modul from f30 to f20.


Passenger side is not working at all.
Module i cannot change becouse my was small whit one is big like driver side.


Please help.

It looks like the passenger seat (F20) is with memory etc. The F30 do not come with that feature from factory and this will not be supported.
You need to swap all electric from your f30 seat to the F20 seat.
It looks like all motors are the same so change the wiring harnes and the seat heating module.

The smal control unit at the F30 seat(right ?) is the one for the seat heating. It is a LIN bus control module.
The big controlmodule (F20 right?) is a K_Can bus module (the commands for the seat heating comming from a different bus system).
The F30 is expecting a LIN bus connection for the passenger seat heating-that means that the F20 K_Can module will not be recognised by the car.
That is why you need to change the wirering for the seat-take the harnes from the F30 seat-including the switch at the side of the seat and swop it into the F20 seat and taking the samll control unit as well onto the F20 seat in stead of the big one
