Hi RedKloud , yes, just press "Up" on the volume and it will unmute/start playing the current Audio input.

Fuel door unlocks without having to unlock drivers door. Even my BMW Rep told me this too? But when I pull up to the gas pump (full service here), I don't have to unlock anything, and the attendant still is able to press my gas lid and open it, even sometimes before coming to a full stop.

I'll be darned - it actually does that - turned the radio off, pressed "up" on the volume control and the radio came on.....the things you can learn on this board are so valuable. Now to go see if the fuel cap works when the door is locked but the car is in close proximity as posted by DJ Rocc....

Wait, how is this again? I know my fuel door locks with the switch. If the fuel door is OPEN and the car is locked, you can't push it closed without unlocking the car first.

Mine seems to lock when locking car from outside, but when inside the car, locking the car does not lock my fuel tank lid.

I believe when u lock it, everything shuts off and the alarm is armed and the gas tank is locked, however, if u just got to the gas station and are waiting in the car for example, the electronics are still on and the alarm isn't armed so the tank will remain unlocked, although I think it has to do with just the alarm

Really? Why is this good? I thought it's supposed to be locked when all 4 doors are locked. It's supposed to be unlocked when the driver door is unlocked.

That can't be, because the 3/428 doesn't come with an alarm. It's hard for me to confirm since my door has to be unlocked for me to get out and gas the car. Maybe some NJ folks with full serve only know?

I believe the alarm comes standard on 2016's and newer, not sure about 2015's. I know it wasn't standard on my 2013, and I don't think 2014 neither.

This is good for people with full service pumps, so that no doors have to be unlocked while at the pump. (All pumps are Full Service here)

Also, to test you would have another person on the outside, and just ask them to try to unlock gas lid.

Don't 9mm subs tend to jam after a few 100 rounds? I know my friends did once while we were going through a tactical drill. Especially if you are firing Plus PP Ammo.

Confirmed it as well with my brother's 2016 X1, that the gas tank can be opened without unlocking doors (while inside). I wonder if it locks at a certain speed while driving, and then unlocks under a certain speed?

Do you think it could be opened while driving? Going to try test that out this weekend (hope I don't get my arm chopped off) LOL.

With the NBT and tech package - inserted a brand new CD that didn't contain CD-text. Option button gave the option to do a CD lookup from Gracenote online. Found the CD in about 15 seconds - downloaded titles and cover art.
