Adaptive Headlights not Working
I hit a deer this fall, not much damage, but enough to replace left headlight, kidney grill and front valence. Anyway, I got the car back, drove it for a week, then last night, the first time at night since repaired, I noticed that the adaptive lights were not tracking like they used to, instead, they just pointed straight ahead. Is there a setting to turn it on? Or do I have to take it back to have that reset? I searched the forum but did not find anything related to my issue. Cheers, Blade

The adaptive headlights only work with the light switch set to the left on "A". Also, the adaptive feature only works up to speeds of ~55 kph.
Hope your issue really is something that simple. Other than what I've mentioned, I'm stumped. |

Confirm you have adaptive by turning from A to 0 and back when parked. The lights should go to as wide spread to normal when going from A to 0.
Or maybe that's EU config. Below 30mph/40-50kph the adaptive ones are spread wider then normal up to 140kph. After that they should go in longer range mode (longer beam) aka Autobahn mode |

I have Adaptive Headlights on my 335. When parked in my driveway and I turn the wheel, the lights move in the direction I turn.

Correct. But only if you are in the auto-headlight mode. If the the light switch is in either position to the right of the "0" (parking lights or manual headlight), the headlights will be locked, and they will not move with your steering wheel input, whether sitting idly in your parking spot or driving.

This is the kind of stuff that worries me about owning these cars long term. So much tech.
I'd take it back to whoever fixed it.
