Do you like to Sway?

Good morning guys...Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I wanted to pass on some information concerning replacing the sway bars with H&R sway bars. I have a 2014 428i vert and wanted to have more stability around turns at speed. Well I will say first that I am very fortunate to have a great group of bmw enthusiasts that help me make it possible. And after the replacement, I can tell you what a joy an already fun car became. I will also say that a job that was suppose to take a couple of hours, changed to an all day affair. BMW has decided to change the sway bars in how they are placed in the vehicle compared to previous years. If you are considering doing the change, please feel free to contact me for pictures and tips . Again I can't express my appreciation enough to the group of guys that helped me make it possible. Here is a view of the difference in bars. Can you guess which is the OEM? Next upgrade will be tires and rims.

I keep thinking some good sways would put the final touches on my F31 suspension. The Shockware went a long way, but I always want more. Sways would be the cherry on top but doing sways without end links wouldn't be something I would do.

Do you have to drop/loosen the subframe is that the extra time needed?

you must drop the subframe for the thicker sway bar to fit in.

If you replace with an OEM sway bar its thin and flexible enough to slide through the gap, but the thicker ones will not fit.

That's what I figured, it's how the GTI was too.
