My car was just updated by the dealer to the latest integration level.

I've noticed a couple of changes, a couple not so nice.

For one thing, my H-K stereo sounds terrible. I'll be there's an issue with the DAC. If anyone knows how to reset this, I'd appreciate a hint.

Second, CLM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK set to "aktiv" in FEM_BODY 3040 no longer works. Damn. I loved that.

And, for what it's worth, setting BMW_LOGO to "mpm" in Kombi 3000 produces -- get this -- an M550d Performance logo! :-)

Most everything else works -- Comfort Access closing and opening mirrors, weather band, actual temp/pressure in the iDrive display, removal of disclaimers.

Any suggestions on the first two appreciated.

The BMW M550d logo issue was known as a recent issue. However, are you absolutely positive that CLM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK doesn't work? Because I coded someone's brand new '15 vehicle that had the M550d logo issue (meaning he had the latest update) but CLM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK worked just fine.

As for your HK. Try just going to iDrive Settings, Tone, and reset your sound settings at the bottom. Do you still have the 'Logic 7 Surround' checkbox?

But a new car doesn't necessarily have the latest integration level -- I've checked MY13 loaners that were at the same level as my early production MY12.

I'm going to check again in a couple of days to make sure I didn't misread the setting.

I do have the Logic 7 checkbox -- I didn't code to remove it because I actually like the effect.

I know it doesn't mean it's the absolute latest. But I'm relating it to the fact that the car had the 'M550d' logo result since you said you updated and both those codes had an issue congruently. I'm sure you're probably right about the Auto-Unlock not working, I just have yet to see that in person.

And I was just making sure that the Logic 7 Surround checkbox was there (Assuming it will only show up with HK) because I know a couple people that installed a Hi-Fi system and the vehicle wasn't properly coded, leading to crappy sound until it was properly coded in. Either way, I have no idea... Out of curiosity though, what does it exactly sound like that makes it sound bad?

Guys, there is an easy fix to the 550d logo issue. Just change it M235i It's only 1 number off lol
