passenger restraint system malfunction

I just got this message yesterday. it disappeared couple hours later. anyone had same issue?

Warnings tend to crop up and then go away never to be seen again. It's when the warning won't go away that you need to be concerned.

Sensor under the seat; my ex-wife's '09 335 does that. The sensor is about $60 I think...not sure how hard it is to replace it. My wife's Benz is starting to do that...but since we're dumping it, I don't care lol.

Mine did that and the dealer replaced a module up in the headliner area. Under warranty so fixed free of charge.

I'm still under manufacturer warranty 36k miles plus car is a CPO... today I got passenger seat belt warning ( seat was empty). time to visit dealer. thank you all!
