But like I said, they are not important at the end. My way: No number games, go straight to the deal. Your way: Confuse yourself out with numbers, and get a good selling price. But your monthly payment will be higher than you thought. Let's just save OP some time and braincells. |

i dont confuse myself and dont get ripped with extra fees, because im smart enough to know all my numbers that comprise my payment, and theres nowhere for the dealer to tack in extra crap. some people actually know how to take all the numbers and put them together to arrive at a payment with no surprises. |

There shouldn't be any surprises, but like I 've said in my last post and the post before and before, the dealer will just hit you with something on top of your payment (in case you forget: ie down payments). Again here's my deal, and I asked you earlier with a question but you did not answer me... Here's the question again: "Looking at my quote, does knowing final sell price makes a difference?" MSRP $600XX 0 money down $555 a month, tax included (NY sales tax) 39 month lease 10k per year Looks simple huh? Because it is. |

yea, you should stop giving advice in leasing threads.
i noticed not once did you deny you shopped on payment, and thats the only way you can "do a deal with no numbers." youre paranoid about getting extra bs fees tacked on, but youre probably the prime victim to end up with extra fees, because its obvious you shop on payment and couldnt even put the numbers of your own deal together to get your lease price because you blindly signed as soon as the dealer said they could get you in a car for $550. anyway this is getting hella old and you give bad advice consistently in lease threads so i figured you needed to be called out on it finally. "The interest I need to pay are included in the payments." lol no shit sherlock, says it all right there. |

Again, you have avoided my question for the third time. Is it really that hard to answer? Or maybe you just don't have an answer? I am not paranoid about getting extra bs fees added on, the worst is to call off the deal and go somewhere else. I told you that you can save a lot of hassle by not negotiating the BS sell price. Now you are saying I blindly signed my contract? lmao, do you just like to make up stuffs? I told you my deals so many times already. What is wrong with it? Please stop being a hater that I am getting crazy good deals using my method. I am sure one day you will learn Enjoy finding your new bmw. |

Did you put your taxes and fees down? Just so you know, in order to get to that payment, the selling price of your vehicle was reduced greatly, hence the low payment.
When negotiating, going straight to the payment is easier, but to get to that payment, the numbers have to be adjusted on the selling price (and trade in value, if there is any.) |

Glad that you are bringing up the "trade in" question which is very important (and I forgot to mention in my earlier posts), no there were no trade in involved. I would suggest you to find a car leasing company that has good connect with the bmw dealership. I am sure they will be able to find a much better deal for you than you do it by yourself, they will do the negotiation for you. Good luck!! Last edited by Prissy; 12-30-2014 at 08:11 AM.. |

"MSRP $600XX
0 money down $555 a month, tax included (NY sales tax) 39 month lease 10k per year" Using this lease calculator http://www.ridewithg.com/calculator/index.html Your numbers come out to be MSRP $60099 (assuming highest) Selling price $53675 No fees rolled in (you paid $1500 in drive off's) 39 month term 62% residual .00125 money factor (worst case scenario) 4% state sales tax (NY) 10k per year Your RwG Deal rating is 98.19015438865765. So ultimately you negotiated about 11% off MSRP, pretty good job! Here is my deal: MSRP $52960 Selling price $46000 $1900 in fees rolled in (truly $0 out of my pocket) 39 month term 62% residual .00125 MF 8% CA sales tax 10k per year $526 a month with tax and fees included. 0 out of my pocket. My RwG deal rating is 104.03418564911225. 13% off MSRP |

Here's an good example of what puma1552 don't understand. from your post, you said you are getting 13% off MSRP vs my 11% off MSRP. Now let's compare our monthly payments, mine is higher about $25-$30, but my MSRP is $7139 higher than yours. Now you can see who's got a better deal. This is why I said selling price doesn't mean anything. |

Shit this got out of hand.
Here is my 2 cents. Get msrp Money factor .00013 N selling price Residual (I believe it's 63% right now)how many months you want it at and bang you should be able to shop around. I live in Boston and and to get the car from PA to get my deal. dealers in boston was about 20 bucks higher for a lesser build and drive off was 1905. But hey if just msrp and monthly works for you. Then best of luck. I just have to agree with puma. I like all my ducks in a row before I make a decision. Especially a car that will be loved like everyone in this forum. |
