Thanks! Power is definitely being considered. Still deciding between MPPK and Dinan

Grille Installed

Making some progress... the grille was a bit of a pain to take off but managed to finish this up over the last weekend. Looks much better, though I contemplated whether to keep the chrome edge/trim.

Also did some coding... loving the Adaptive M Suspension... here's a question for those of you with a lip, what do you think about the front clearance of my driveway (and should I get a lip)?

If that's all the clearance you have then I would be scared to put a lip on it.

That's my primary concern. Not sure if there's any lips out there that would work.

That looks about the same gap I have with a lip on and it occasionally scrapes if I come into my driveway too fast.

M Sport brake question

Looking into getting a 435i GC at the end of the year and thinking about getting the track package. I haven't driven one yet but curious as to what your opinions on the m sport brakes are compared to the regular. Is there a noticeable difference?

I would say that the brakes are not too different while driving on the street (very good initial bite and good modulation). It's when you are stretching its heat handling capabilities at which point you will start seeing the difference as it should fade a lot slower than stock brakes.

The other side benefit of going with the Track Package are the 18" wheels (some may not like the look) with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (non run flats). These tires are excellent and provides great road feedback while still being a very comfortable ride (even more so combined with the M Adaptive Suspension).

Good luck!

Thanks! It does make the car look less top heavy (visually lowering the car without actually lowering).

As boring as a 'solid' paint sounds, Alpine White on any F3X car really does look amazing in my opinion. Great shots here.

Great looking car!

I just have a question about the grill - is that an OEM M4 grill? Sorry if you've mentioned it already, I haven't seen it

It's an aftermarket M4 style grille. Would have gone with OEM but the badge is not easily and cleanly removable (at least without some rotary tool / sanding work, as there is a horizontal piece of plastic behind the badge - have seen some folks go with a different badge but I'd rather keep it clean). Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I'm getting my GC soon and the M4 grill is something I want on my car, just wasn't sure if the OEM M4 fits. Do you have a link where you got yours from? the fitment seems to be on the spot?

My set came from Taiwan (through eBay), fitment is good as it's designed for F32, F33 and F36 with the M Sport bumper. The tricky part is really taking out the OEM grille.

Good luck!

Looks great

Are there any interior changes like the 3 LCI?

Sliding cup holder cover, extra chrome accents on window switches, etc?

Yep. The 2016 has sliding cover, white/Amber HVAC display, and the trims like the LCI 3er.

Thanks....does it have the extra ambient lighting around the AC/radio controls?

Haven't been able to confirm as I have it set to sport (white), which is dimmer than the classic amber). The sport ambient lighting is hardly noticeable unless it was absolutely dark.

Update: The HVAC does not have the revised ambient lighting around the plate and it looks like upgrading it might be more difficult since it does not have the cupholder light to use as a source.
