328, 428 oem exhaust tips diameter...put to rest
so I measure the stock/oem exhaust for the 328/428...here are the results
Inlet 2 inches Outlet 2.5 inches Length 4.25 inches the space between the twin tips is around 0.25 inches so what does this all mean...we're fucked if you want to change your tips for other sizes cuz the space in between the two tips is only 0.25 the only options are the oem chrome or the black chrome, either that or get an aftermarket exhaust/muffler/etc  |

There's one more option.
Buy the BMW original "M" tip for 228i, remove the stock chrome/black chrome and screw it on. Looks the part with a slightly nicer tip with "M" engraving. Last edited by mel4fun; 03-19-2017 at 08:41 PM.. |
