Who Is On The TORINO Headed To NY?

Well the 335i GT is finally on the water headed to the U.S. It's on the TORINO. Should be on the ground 10/14 and then at the dealer a week after or less...

Anyone else with me?

10/15 Update

Nice congrats man. Soon enough. I can't wait to start tracking it again once it appears back in AIS position. I believe it's in the center of the Atlantic.

Congrats too! Its been a dreadful wait from production to now but it won't be long now. I will upload some pics when I get it. What options did you get with your 335GT?

Wow nice options! Especially with the M sport and DHP. I placed my order around the same time as you. I know I am lucky for it to be on the Torino but I am just impatient I guess. Got mine from BMW of Freehold. Their service was fantastic. They had the best price out of 5 dealership I negotiated with. My MSRP was around 56-57k.

Nice. My current BMW X3 is from Freehold. Very nice people. They couldn't get me a great deal. Only good. Lol. I'm gonna watch the boat go under the Verrazano bridge in BKlyn. Gay right? Lmao

Lol. Are you going to wave as it goes by? Well I won't go that far. I will just wait for mine to arrive at the dealership. Hopefully it won't be that long after it docks.

I am also on Torino. I picked it up in Munich early September, drove 1200 miles on awesome roads and dropped it in Amsterdam on 14th. Am very excited to get my hands on it again.

I am curious how much document fee did your dealership charge you? I ordered from Morristown.

Sounds like a great time. I'm going to do ED in 6 years. When my kids are older, and my funds are richer. They are 3 and 1.5 now. That B58 I bet was ripping through Europe. Did you do a hard break in? At least you can go hard on it when it arrives back home. You put enough miles on it.

I didn't get a chance to test the limits of the car as I was told not to go over 100MPH/4500RPM until break-in. As I neared 1200, unfortunately I was almost in Amsterdam and could not do much with all the traffic and cameras.

I strongly recommend ED for the amazing experience and money savings it provides. Savings easily covered our flight, hotel expenses and more. Now the difficult part (besides waiting for the car) is to wait for the next ED lol.

I see you got DHP, do you plan to track?

Yes I plan on tracking it once all of my mods are done, but def want to test the drag strip to see what the baseline is first.
