Out of State Lease Deals?
I am trying to work on getting the best price I can for a new 328xi lease.
I can go out of state for this correct? I had a dealer tell me they cant lease to out of state people due to tax reasons??? |

That doesn't sound right at all. I haven't been around here too long but I've seen quite a few members leasing cars from CAs who are active forum members. It's all the same thing save for arranging delivery I'm pretty sure

That's false. In picked up my '15 335 in April from Park Ave Bmw and I live in NYC. All I had to do was pay the extra $$ in tax to NYC at the dealer.

I just signed for 2nd BMW. Both deals were out of state. Got 2015 X5 in Dec from NY (Coast to Coast) and picking up new 320i from Portland next week.
I'm in Seattle and all BMW dealers in WA state have refused my business you know what I mean. |

Yes, shipped in enclosed trucking with Intercity Lines. It was still way cheaper than buying from northwest states.

out of state means nothing. You pay the taxes on whatever state the car is being registered to.
One thing I did notice (that effects the price)...some states allow MSD (NJ does, NY does not)...which is why i got my car out of state. Other than that, the price of the car is the same in every state....sale price is determined by dealership

I drove 6 hours to Alabama (Tom Williams BMW - highly recommend), because they were willing to discount the most from MSRP. The taxes have been a bit of a hassle but other than that it has been an easy process.
