sun shade from e90 fit f30?

i want a nice sun shade for my F30 that sits in an uncovered parking lot in Arizona all day...summers are brutal if you haven't heard. all websites that sell sun shades do not have the F30 listed yet. do you think the windshield size has changed much since the e90? i am digging this sunshade, tell me the chick in the video doesn't drive home that product.

http://www.autoanything.com/driving-...A1228A0A0.aspx

they are supposedly custom fit?

I order from heatshieldstore.com and they said windshield was same size even with body change. It arrives in mail next week and am curious if it is.

Someone said something on one of these threads about the windshields being the same size

I'm pretty sure it will fit.. I'm using the E46 sun shade =) (but, ok, it does not look like how it looks in that picture lol, it just fits good enough lol)

If someone bought either of these sunshades can you confirm how good the fit is? If it's not perfect I think I'd rather wait until they come out with a 2012 version.

the 2012 version is available, i was probably the 1st nerd in the country to get one. it fits great, but some sun sneaks past the rear view mirror. regardless this is the BEST sunshade i have ever owned, and it is mandatory in the Valley of the Sun! (phoenix metro area)

i bought mine direct from Covercraft:

I do not see the 2012 F30 available on the link you posted.
Did you order the 2011 E90 model?

Quick update.

I have to say this fits perfectly on my F30. Rolls up and stores easily. Fits the windshield very well and is east to put up.

Do you notice a difference in the inside temp, I also live in Phoenix and my car sits outside while I'm at work. Thanks for the info.

hard to say, it's hot as hell out here in the West Valley. I even put on 20% ceramic tint to reflect the heat.

Cool, thanks for the info. I think if anything it will keep the wheel cooler than baking in the sun. I like the fitment of the one you have and the way it folds up. Thanks again

I work in the West Valley, you ever go to any of the local meets?

This is a great sunshield for the E90. Fits like a glove, though it has one build flaw: the glue attaching the velcro strap melts in the heat! I had to use OTC superglue to reattach and hod stong in the heat. It'd be nice if it could fold more compact.

The "OEM" shield is the rigid fold-flat one pictured above. It does a good job, but it is heavier and puts more weight on the visors.
