That being said. Contrary to the empirical evidence yours and the Aussie's butt-dyno provide, I merely responded to a question posted by another user that was questioning the purchase of this mod. My original reply was about an anectdote I read in a car magazine about a company that actually tests (w/ SCIENCE!!) chassis' & suspensions for automakers and race teams. It mentioned that they have yet come across a strut tower brace that made any appreciable difference in performance.

For that, I get flamed for saying that it may not be worth the money? I guess that's what I get for venturing out on the interwebs.
Well every car is different when it comes to suspension every bolt has a reason, maybe in another car with different stress from engine, suspension geometry ect. it would be worthless but I am saying from my own experience with this strut on this car with this engine not even the 335i. if you were debating about the 335i I wouldn't interfere because i haven't experienced that car or any of it's aftermarket parts. although differences between 328i & 335i is not huge when it comes to suspension but still the car will behave different.

G'day mate!
Sorry, I've been a bit busy with work lately. To speak to your point about science and logic, I would love to hear your thoughts on what M GmbH Head of engineering, Dr. Albert Biermann has to say about the front end of the F80. I cannot wait to see you artfully deconstruct his reasons for massively stiffening the front end of the F80 by including a strut bar, and several other suspension braces, which I am also going to buy. Surely he will be as awed as I have been by your 'science and logic'.

Please skip to 14:40 to hear how little Dr Biermann knows about suspension compared to diesel86 of Arizona.

Have it here in NYC and honestly its pretty noticeable especially on our crappy roads. Its not a whole new car but you feel its helping when its aggressive turns

I believe strut bars come stock on a lot of BMW's although they are very thin. An upgraded strut bar looks great in the engine bay but in terms of handling and performance theyre worth little to nothing. I wouldn't ugrade mine unless someone wanted to give me one for like $20.

Hiding underneath, pic from a 320i... I'm pretty sure 328/335 should all have it.
