Hi again!

Is there anybody here who has working Internet (or just presenting in menu) on NBT running on 51.1 software? Please give me the .NCD file for comparing.

I have lost Internet in menu after upgrade the NBT from 48.3 to 51.1.
And Internet was working before flashing.

Shawn you are the man once again! Followed the steps in your PM and get updated files and a token. I was able to get on and code and everything seemed to go fine. However this time I did all my reading of the modules and edits then I activated the FA and wrote each module one after the other. I have not had time to troubleshoot but everything said it went fine but a few obvious things I tried did not work. Is there an order or only so many I should do at a time? I will go read them back tomorrow and see if the changes actually stuck or not. thanks again shawn!

No. No order nor limit to what you can code at one time. If you VO Coded though instead of FDL Coding, then you never wrote your changes to the ECU's.

Sorry for the stupidity but what is the difference shawn? I read the CADLs or whatever the guide said then did edit FDL mad the changes. Activated the FA then did code on each of the ones I had changed. I will look again and get the exact things clicked. Also like when I did kombi etc it did the thing where it said it needed service and time reset etc which makes me think something happened. Anyway now that I am off today I will look at it more and see if nothing worked or maybe just specific things. thanks as always

The difference is everything.

ECU => Code = VO Code = Encodes entire ECU (all parameters) to predefined values to support all options defined in Vehicle Order.

ECU => CAFD => Code FDL = FDL Code = Encodes only individual ECU Parameters with custom values, overriding the predefined VO values.

Thanks for the tutorial worked great! For some reason my coded dvd in motion is not working (everything else does). I set all 3 options (the speed one and the disable park one). i have 2014 320i.. using latest 3.23.4 and latest data files ... my modules also have slightly different names like instead of HU_CIC mine is called HU_NBT ..

If you were connected to the car, and wrote FDL Chnages to the ECU, they should stick.

YOu have the new NBT Head Unit, which replaced CIC, hence your ECU is HU_NBT instread of HU_CIC.

Go back and check both Speedlock Werte values and verify they are FF.
