4GC 428i arrives on Tuesday

very excited. haven't seen any of these on the streets of the UK yet

I've had a couple of dull cars (E90 320d msport, F30 320d lux) so now it's time for some fun!

F36 428i msport auto
MG/CR (seems to be the most popular combo on here)
brushed aluminium, piano black (I thought the al hex was just a bit too much)
adaptive lights
heated electric seats
sat nav
441M 18" wheels

I'm picking up on Tuesday from Berry BMW (somewhere near Heathrow)

I'm waiting for my GC to arrive...and yes MG/CR seems to be the more popular combo...
MY GC will be MG/CR, M Line, 18" 441 M wheels ferric grey with M brakes..
post some pics once you get your car!!!!

Yeah seems like 80% of the 4's are MG/CR! wow!

I agree, with the MG/CR Al. Hex probably be a bit much. But with my interior being all black, the Hex should spice it up a just a bit.

I'm loving this car :-)

First impressions - compared to E90 320d msport 6MT and F30 320 lux 8AT

- this engine is a beaut
- handling and ride are superb. Combines agility of E90 with comfort of F30
- engine noise. interesting. I strongly suspect that there's some audio support going on! with the windows closed, you get a throaty roar when you open it up. With them open, it's a fairly muted turbo whoosh
- much easier to get controlled drift than F30. ahem.
- I worried about not getting 19" wheels, but these look good and feel good
- brushed al is fine, but a little dull. Might have been better to get hex
- the CR seat are great, great. enough said

other things that may be of interest

This has the new business satnav (newer than the f30 320d rental I just returned, anyway)
Faster graphics, slightly fancier menu look and feel throughout the iDrive menus.
Bluetooth now supports audio streaming as standard
I notice that the USB socket in the glove box has disappeared though! chiz.
