...this is typical BMW in every way. I've posted about this on my N54s and when I first got my N55 on my 135i. BMW softened throttle and removed the exhaust gurgling right before official release of the PPK for the cars. horrible.

I'm lucky enough to have a spare laptop that is dedicated for coding. I don't have anything on it. Yes, we have to recode cars that get updated by the dealer, it's a fact of life and we just deal with it. I let everyone know that that will happen and no one has complained. Our next coding meet already has 2 cars coming for recoding. These meets are lots of fun and it's great to compare cars and customizations. |

Why not set up a code day once every couple of months through here, post it on a couple of threads and charge like $20 to go through it. That way your compensated for your time, its on a scheduled date so no one can bother you individually for the equipment and I bet it will become one of those 'you helped me so now that I have one I'll help others' kind of system... I know for me, I just need to play with it for about 10 minutes and should be a least able to code what I would like to if not have a good feel for the interface. If you teach me to fish instead of catching it for me I won't bother you again
