Over in Whirlpool, there are many threads about good tint shops. Here are a few for you to see if they do 3M:
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...=133&q=tinting http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum....cfm?t=1982163 http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum....cfm?t=1833648 When you find a good one, please let me know. My car is still too hot inside. I know it's sunny today, but at 20 degrees or so, it shouldn't be this hot.

Try this guy:
http://www.cartint.net.au/ not 3M but he does non-metallic films which is probably more ideal for BMWs |

Thanks for all the responses..I guess my only worry if that I find a tint shop that has not worked with luxury cars before they will damage the vehicle or remove the door panels to do the tint

Tinting
Yes - I just picked up a BMW 328 M Sport in Estoril Blue today from Doncaster BMW. Really happy with the drive and comfort. Options I added were:
- M sport brakes - Reverse camera - Front heated seats - Sunroof - Bi-xenon lights - Extended Bluetooth - DAB Now looking for a good tint place. Worried about them doing any damage to the interior. Any other suggestions besides Nth Melb tint-a-car? |

been using these guys for years
http://www.tinturride.com.au/address_11.html I did mine for $200, and they use quality film, and offer lifetime warranty. Everywhere else try to rip you off as soon as you say you mention BMW. |

No good there. He's got a crook neck and can't do F30's as the rear window is too hard for him to get to.

Ultrashades
Try Phil from Ultrashades in Moorabin - he's done my Audi Q3 and my 328i M Sport with no issues. not cheap, but i've had issues with Tintacar etc in the past

Ya i heard very good stuff about suntek.. For u guys who got tints.. did u guys tint the front and rear windscreen as I'm thinking of going 80% all round.
Does it effect the HUD? |

suntek is what the dealers use.
Pretty sure its illegal to tint your front windscreen, so sides and back only. 80% sounds pretty light!
