MPPK HP/TQ Readout???

I got the PPK installed on my 2013 335xi sportline last week. It feels faster but I didnt receive any instructions on how to access the IDRIVE screen that shows HP/TQ.

Anyone know where I can find this?
It does come with the PPK right?

It's the same as before. Mine goes to 400/400 now instead of 320/320.

Easiest way is to put it in Sport (or Sport+) mode and you should get an option to turn on 'Sport Displays' and click it.

Is it possible these guys are getting the new PPK with 335hp?

I have the old PPK and the sport displays show 320/400.

I would dyno your new PPKs, I suspect you may be the recipients of the new stuff

Hard to say. I got the PPK last Wed. Then installed a downpipe on Sunday. I've seen the display under WOT hold at 350hp after both installs. I need to take some vid.

I think you should, and dyno it too but I think it's likely you have more than 320hp.

My car is getting the old PPK replaced under warranty. I will see if my displays change to 400/400. I don't see any other reason they would give you 400/400 displays unless you are making more than 320 horses.

Sweet deal you guys got

Ok I tried looking for that option off the sport mode screen and i dont have it. PPK is supposed to add this for me right?

Should I be going back to the dealer to make sure the PPK is actually installed?

I've got the 'Sport' model, so perhaps it only comes with that? I had it before. Here's my before and after (note I'm utilizing the split screen option):

It's under 'Vehicle Info' I believe. It's right below the 'Efficient Dynamics' screen where you can view the last 5,8,20 etc minutes of fuel usage. That screen itself shows when mode your in, be in Comfort, Eco or Sport - Sport+ if you have it.

Maybe I'm the only screwy person that reads the entire owner's manual? Because I know you can hide the Sport Display pop-up screen for good, I did it accidentally once. Every time I put it in Sport mode I get the option to see the HP/Torque graphs. Here's some pics. I don't have the exact path but I'll try to take one later and post up.

damn..... with my 4 month old PPK, the sports meter displays only 320/400..... had I waited 4 more months I would have got 80hp more.

wonder if existing PPK customers get the free update...

I went to the dealer today and waited for 2 hours to have them check a drivetrain malfunction and switch the readout on the sport displays to hp/tq.

No luck on either end.
I then proceeded to reset my profile as indicated by another member of the forum. It now reads hp/tq however it only reads 320/320 despite my ppk install?

I'm wondering the same thing. I may call to ask. I'm curious to find out if it just changes the display from 320/400 400/400 or you actually do get some additional horsepower.

It's 320 vs 335hp...and I can bet Hard money both versions of the PPK would dyno the same.

400/400 is just the dial, like your cars oil temp gauge...

I'm in the same boat ("old" MPPK with 320 hp)....and, if I was willing to spend a grand for 20 hp....then, why not inquire about a "free" additional 15 hp? Yes, I know the 320hp is underrated....but so might the 335 hp be underrated. My question is....who do we call (besides the dealership) about the "upgrade"? I can just see my dealership either saying no (because they're too lazy to look into it).....or they know nothing about any new MPPK.

For what it's worth, I have a more recent build (3/2013), so I never needed a new DME when I had the MPPK installed.

Your dealership, and I believe there should be a bulletin out for it....I'm going in to see mine on the 13th.
