335 M performance exhaust

Thinking of getting the M performance exhaust for my car. How much should I expect to pay for part + install at a dealership?

It was pretty easy and I just followed the diy that was on here. 45 minutes including a run to auto zone

It's super easy to do. It's just a few bolts and hangers.

I paid 860+shipping for the exhaust through getbmwparts dot com, looks like the price went back up. I also go the carbon fiber tips.
I went to my local exhaust shop and had it installed in 15 minutes for 60 bucks.
A hell of lot cheaper than the $250 that the dealership quoted me for install, not to mention the $1250 wanted for the exhaust minus the tips.

I'm debating, stock sport mode sounds not bad. How much difference is the MPE gonna be? Never heard it in person.

In USA BMW provides 340 for both transmissions, auto and manual.
In Canada, 340 for AT and 339 for MT, exactly like in Europe (since last june).
In www.realoem.com you will find all info you need

Sounds a lot like my old 335is. Some place between stock & the PE on the 135is.

Ooopsss... You have 339 version of MPE... It doesn't sound so good... I was very disappointed and replaced it with 340 just a couple of weeks ago
But I have the AT.

Its a nice sound & the tips from the stock exhaust will slide right on if you don't want to buy the M tips. Self install take 20 minutes or so with a ratchet wrench. Glad I bought it.

Yeah dude, F the dealership.
Go online and get it and find a local shop that does exhaust only repairs/installs. you will save time, $, and aggravation.
