Wheels too big?? F32 440i xdrive fitment
Hello! First post here, I just bought a 2017 440i xdrive M sport and im new to the wheel and fitment thing. Winter is coming so I bought a set of tires that may or may not fit. Just wanted to see if anyone has ran or tried running this setup below:
Superspeed 19x8.5 et 35 front 19x9.5 et 35 rear Tires 275/40 R19 square I think the rears will clear but i have a good feeling the fronts will rub. If they do does anyone know a size that i can run in the fronts while keeping the rears the same? If not im ok with selling the tires and just going for like 255/35 R19 all around. I will probably run the same sizes for summer as well. I also plan to lower the car on coilovers or springs but that will be after the winter season. Thanks in advance! |

275/40/19=27.7" will not fit why buy staggered widths and run square sizes? i get that you can rotate it, but the 9.5" is more concave than the 8.5". if you want to run square, you shouldv'e run either 8.5" or 9.5" with 255/35/19 square. imo you should run 235/40/19 front, 265/35/19 rear, staggered width tires on staggered width rims that you have. in the future, i suggest query the board before purchasing. goes for other kinds of parts as well. |

Thanks for the response! I mainly bought it for a really cheap price and considered selling the tires. I got everything for 800 cad the tires are pirelli p zeros with lots of tread.
You mentioned the 235/40/19 front and 265/35/19 rears, would that setup cause issues with the transfer case? And being new to this new tire thing am i still able to fit those tires on the rims? Thank you! |

i'm going by the rim sizes you listed in the 1st post...what are the rim sizes? if it's what you listed, 235/30/19 fits perfect on 8.5" wide, 265/35/19 fits perfect on 9.5" wide.

Update:
The person that sold me the rims lied and said the Center bore was 72.6 but when fitting them on the car the rim was smaller than the hub. Was wondering if anyone know any adapters that I can put on the hub to fit the rims? |

you'd have to get a FK8, FL5, or integra type S hub and see if you could fit it on your car. do you really want to go there? personally, i'd just sell the rims and get proper fitting wheels for you car. sometimes going for a cheap deal, often causes more grief than good.

Thanks for the response, seems like it does fit. I’m planning on just buying the replika wheels here wrapped in 255/35/r19. Let me know if you have any other recos! Not trying to spend too much on winter rims lol Thanks! |

Got the rims on and they fit great. It does rub on full lock out but I don’t mind that for winters. I do plan to lower the car the when summer comes around so I’m thinking of sizing down maybe to OEM even. What do you think? |
