Can anyone help me ? Iv retro fitted xenon in my f30 but carnt get the manual headlight aim adjustment to work on the wheel on light switch ...also i followed another post on the wireing modification needed but then relised it was a us version..is the uk wiring modification different ? ...
Main beam ,high beam shutter and halos currently working but have lin slave faults in ista and when i try to initiate them it error and says no communication.
Any help would be much appreciated

Why don't you just manually adjust them with the wheels on the headlights?

Yea iv done that but i would like to no if it can be done so that the adjustment works off the switch or am i gona have to fit level sensors

Was hopeing the wireing mod iv followed was wrong and all would be good once some one tells me the correct way to mod the wiring for this install

Iv added ground wires to pins 7 and 4 and put wire from pin 12 into pin 8 slot ...i need to no is this correct

Can't help on the wiring, but a car that came with xenons from factory doesn't have the height adjuster wheel next to the light switch because it would've also had the levelling sensors fitted. I don't think it's possible to get the dial working because no car would've ever had xenons and a manual height adjuster from factory because it's something the levelling sensors should automatically handle.

Thanks Zheez much appreciated. That would explain why iam getting error with ista for the light switch not compatible ..looking like iam gona have to do switch an level sensor retrofit
