I already payed 75 $ for the dyno i do not think i will pay another 75 $ just to be sure. After what the BMS team had to say im quite sure this is the expected gain not the 33HP that was advertised.
Im happy with that to be honest and will probably buy the stage 2, but now i know not to believe their Dyno results and just expect about 50% of the gain they advertise. |

Thing is, once the S1 unit is installed and we can feel the gains, why bother with a dyno? Extra cost to tell us what we already feel & know. 0-100km/h and in gear acceleration tests for me are a better indicator of gains.

What brand of gas were you using when the car was dyno'd?

So getting +18whp on 93 octane in 60 degree weather on a well adapted car might be below expectations while where getting +18whp on 91 octane at higher elevation on a 80 degree day might be above expectations. It's all in the details. Mike |

Wow. We had results much more akin to what BMS got. Here's before and after dynos: same day same car, just without and then with the JB4. This was done back in July and it was a Beta of the tuner.

A week and a half after install, the boost is just coming out of its shell, after having a number of opportunities to quickly test the awesome power & torque gains of the car. This has just been in Comfort mode with default 3psi. Cannot imagine Stage 2's results.

Mike, what's that second field you circled on the screen? What does it do and how do we set it if we choose 4psi boost?

Thanks. I missed it because there are so many intertwining threads, I forget which is which.

As far as 0-60 times this is what i got...
Stock: JB Stage 1: these are the best results after 8 pulls with the same amount of gas on the same stretch of road before the tune and after the tune. i gave the tune a week to adjust (dont know if it needs to but i did it just in case) before timing the 0-60. |
