They said they will take a look at it.. but had to leave the car overnight because of some other issues..

Needless to say they gave me a 535 loaner.. and im not impressed.. its too big and bulky for me... i like my 3. feel like the pickup in sports mode is slow too.

Guys, this topic is nothing new, M Sport brakes squeal time to time due to cold/moisture/glazing/etc. Do a few hard stops from medium to high speeds (in a safe location) and you'll be fine.

I have an appointment next week and let see what they have to say. Mine was the M sport brakes and according to BMW that was normal and I don't buy it, my E93 M3 never had a squeal.

I did follow other advise by braking hard for several times but problem remains through out the year.

Hope they can replace the brake pads next week when the car is in for service. Current mileage is 39K and never have brake service on the vehicle. It's so embarrassing when it comes to the stop light and you can hear the squeal when you hit the brake.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, the brake pad compound is performance oriented meaning they perform optimally at higher temperatures than you'd typically get during daily driving. Who cares if they squeal, you'll still stop way better than guy beside you... makes your presence known! :P

If you go with aftermarket performance pads, lets say Hawk HP+ performance pads, you'll get the same thing.
