Looks alot like the new S-Class but it doesn't flow as well. Especially the rear. I'd prefer body of the CLA over this.

To be honest, the BMW feels kind of obsolete compared to the new Mercedes. The ugly front nose dive ruins the F30.
The Mercedes looks muscular and elegant at the same time. Not really sporty, but very muscular. The interior looks very good but the navigation screen placement looks stupid. There is this trend of making the nav screen looking like they forgot about it while designing the dashboard and just stuck it in there in the last day before going into production. I love the short rear end (I think they strive to achieve 50/50 weight distribution) and the curved rear windshield which reminds me of an old CL. Front looks very good too. |

At first glance I was like ok that front is damn nice, and it is...But as a total package, the more I look at it the more I see that the F30 wins hands down. The back of the Merc, and 90% of the lines of the car for that fact, are just odd. Some odd, some just way too soft and boring. The F30 is WAY sportier and that is half the reason I got one. It has edgier lines, yet still flows amazingly. Everything down to the old school simple round exhaust tips. I hate that fancy bullshit like we see here on the C. This is obviously subjective at this point, but that car just does not look fun. On the other hand, BMW pulled off an amazing feat with the F30, balancing many different factors.
As for the interior on the C, mostly it is very nice with 2 huge exceptions. The floating tablet is too much. It just looks thrown there. Second, I always hated the seat controls being on the doors in plain sight. Just a horrible idea. Also, from the first time I saw it I loved the shifter on the F30. I'll take that any day over whatever i'm looking at here. As for Audi, I like Audi's alot but I went with the F30 for a reason. Because it wins. |

C-Class interior makes the BMWs interior look like a KIA.

The audi looks 16 years old, inside and out.
The m-b is jan brady, the awkward middle child between cindy (the cla) and marcia (the e), except in this case the whole family is hideous, including mrs. brady, (the s). The 3 isnt going to win any beauty contests but it balances sport and luxury better than the other 2 germans. |

Really feeling the C class. Very slick and smooth. Also like the exhaust. For those saying it looks like a Hyundai or Kia, those car companies are trying to look like Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Lexus all at the same time!
Also, no Lexus IS and Cadillac ATS in the mix? |

I'm a diehard BMW fan but this C-Class looks much more elegant and prestigious than the 3 series. Interior wise I think both cars have their pros n cons but exterior C-Class will sure turn heads where 3 -Series is very ordinary specially from the rear. I have a e46 m3 and a e90 lci n54 and this might be my move to Benz unless 3 series gran-coupe blows me away.

Best looking front is the audi, the BMW front bumper is a horrible mish mash of curves and lines with no fluency what so ever. Started with the 1m, and has only gotten worse. M sport bumper is much better, should have been standard. The audi design is very neat. The BMW is trying too hard, compare the audi hood with the BMW. MB is closer to the audi school of design than BMW. I guess bangelism is still present at BMW.
Best looking rear is the Mb. Tail pipes are very nice on Mb, very integrated into the design. Best interior, as usual, is the audi. bmw used to make the nicest interiors Best one to drive, pretty sure it's the BMW But BMW is definitely not moving forward with this 3 series. Shame really

Wheres the poll for this thread?
C-class is a winner. BMW looks like a cheap econobox by comparison. Go to the interior and it gets worse for BMW. Why am I still trying to convince myself my I like BMW? They seem to have stepped one toe too far on the cheapness meter inside and out. I was at the the LA Auto show today - the Audi A3/S3 sedan is a properly well put together luxurious and refined feeling product. The CLA while impractical and quircky looking from some angles, oozes artistic class has an interior that just feels special. Conversely, BMW sells a $60K 335 with press board for carpet in its trunk The i8 is a head turner, but open the door or trunk and you get unfinished door sills and a trunk carpet that does even have a seam on it. No thanks. The i3 has recycled cardboard for door panels and a dashboard - it feels as cheap as it looks. BMW may still make some of the best drivers cars, but its only the big dollar ones or the old ones, I'll take an E46 M3, and E90 M3, an E60 M5 or an E82 1M as a weekend joyride machine over almost anything, but the day is coming where I look elsewhere for a daily driver.

Rear is terrible. Rather than having it look like the S-Class, the C-Class should resemble the E-Class since it borrowed it's front fascia because those rear taillights look awful.

I don't understand how people can think the CLA is ugly while this C-class looks good?
This C-class looks like dogshit, the as mentioned it literally looks like two different cars melded together, the front car being larger. The CLA looks a lot better than this abortion on wheels. That said, I really, really, really like the current C-class. |

Audi looks getting old. Too conservative. Bmw 3er look also getting blah. Not a big MB fan and I know its different specs/trim, but that new C class looks like it has better fit/finish and more money.

Front is awful, the roofline is interesting. Looks like the CLS, makes it look sporty. rear bumper is ugly. Might look better in person, that AMG package is pretty awful looking.

the Mercedes wins hands down......a far more interesting design than either the A4 or 3er, unfortunately. Granted it is different....but that's a good thing in my book. BMW and Audi are playing it too safe these days....appealing to the 'middle of the road', which is never a good thing!

I think the 3 has the best overall look, albeit the front of the C almost makes up for the direct shot of the rear. It looks better at an angle. The audi just looks old to me now, I think it is the fact that at least 5 car companies use a hexagon derived front facia or grille (Ford, Subaru, Hyundai, et al.) and the Iron Man mask style headlights (Mitubishi, subaru). Just boring and industrial looking, like my cusinart blender.
The inside of that Benz is hot though, and I usually have not had an opinion about MB interiors. BMW interior looks like all the other ones under 100k and audi like it needs a refresh (I'm assuming thats coming soon).
