The code he was talking about just seems like a cost from exceeding the amount of torque the DME expected. The other codes about short circuit could be more problematic. I would NOT replace the DME until you have clear evidence there is a problem with the DME. You need to take the car to a shop that is competent in the electrical and diagnostics to get those codes resolved, and confirm that nothing special needs to be done with the tuning because you have an active hybrid model. That model is extremely rare on here so its possible there is unique tuning required to get it to work with a PS2/higher power level.

Sending the car tomorrow to bmw dealership. I requested them to diagnose everything. I agreed to pay any extra diagnostic charges.

The bm3 people said that there is a problem with DME.
Dropped the car to another dealer as well. Waiting for their response.

UPDATE

The dealership said that the issue seems to be in electric wiring. They have half checked the car. And will check the rest tomorrow.

They said we are 90 percent sure that the DME is not faulty.

I was wondering that if the code was permanent than the car should atleast give a check engine light?

They said to bring car back on Monday. It was their OFF time.
They will update the DME first and than diagnose further.
But they clearly said that we have no aasurity that the issues/codes will resolve but they said that we will narrow down or come to any conclution.

Running xhp will remove torque limits if that is the issue. However, there may be another problem.

It is one of the issue.

The main issue is that boost is not targeting. The wastegate stays at 100 percent.

Sounds like damage but maybe not. You can't possibly know till it's checked out.

You need to ask ptf first and see what they say. Not us as we aren't the ptf or bmw.
