A quickie: Can one lock the F30 Steering Wheel?
Been wanting to ask this from day one.
I cannot lock my steering wheel. Is this normal?

There's an electronic steering wheel lock for MT's activated when the drivers doors is opened. For AT's, the manual doesn't suggest there is. Probably because the car is in 'P', locking the wheels until the ignition is started (unlike an MT where a thief could flick it into neutral, release the handbrake and roll off!

Turn ignition off completely (double push on button), you'll hear a slight whirring and noise of things shutting down. Now open drivers door, listen for clicking, then try to turn wheel and it will lock.
Mine does (MT EU RHD)

I'm with you there, I have an auto just recently replaced arms on it and it's a nightmare torquing the nuts on ball joints. Only way you can do it is having the steering hard right so it can't turn anymore or get someone to hold steering while tightening.
