I though about it but decided not to do it with my 335is, mainly because its 'is'. But with my upcoming 435xi I will surely debadge it.

This is the first time I've debadged my car, and from the factory too.
I think it looks much MUCH better naked. Makes claying easier too. I hate bits of clay or wax around badges. The twin pipes are sufficient to betray what lies under the hood/bonnet, for those of a nosey disposition.

It's funny we think the 2 badges on the rear are too much.....Subabru sticks like 5+ on every tailgate they have.

I'm not into the de-badge, I'm into the re-badge. In every country except the United States, M-Sport models get these cool little 1" badges on each fender. This past year I've seen them personally in Italy, Germany, UK, France, China, and Hong Kong. I got my car from Park Ave BMW as well, was just there two days ago getting my snow tires put on, they all loved the fact that I was being true to the European spec. Note the painted reflectors and painted fender vents too, that the way they look when they come off the assembly line in Germany. |

I vote for whatever you like. I'm a debadge guy. I think it looks much cleaner without. It really makes the roundel pop on MR. I also have no license plate frame which makes it look that much more cleaner.
My car was already 2 years old when I removed mine and I was able to gently pry them off with a panel tool. Followed up with some light rubbing with my hand and the adhesive came off clean. I did have to buff the area slightly to blend it in. |

In the same boat. My E90 was jet black, tinted windows, it looked sleeker for some reason w/o the badge. The new one is GSM; xdrive badge and 335i badges are still there. Can't decide.

Debadge. I'm thinking of doing it, but I would have to put them back on when returning my lease, and don't think I could put them back on exactly where they are now.
If you don't have that problem, then go for it.

Where/When I grew up, people debadged their 316i so you would believe they were driving something quicker
But things have changed and places are different. I simply like the car better debadged and removed the '335i' from mine. As a sidenote, I am not trying to trick people into believing I have an ///M (but I like the license plate frame ): BMW fans know what an M3 is and other people would not know or care anyhow. PS: the easiest way to debadge is to use dental floss. You may want to use a hairdryer at the same time to soften the glue. After that, get rid of remaining glue with a microfiber towel and a bit of alcohol. I apply a bit of wax and make it shine and you would never notice the car ever got badged before.
