Rough Seas? Car waiting to be shipped.

My car has been sitting at port since Feb. 18th. I am curious if it has not been shipped yet due to the weather in Europe. I read the thread about the Asian Emperor being roughed up, and the article on CNN earlier this week with the cargo ship losing about 50 containers.

I am a patient person, but when I ordered my E92 five years ago it seemed that the car shipped rather quickly.

Can anyone provide any information, or might have a car waiting to hop on a boat?

I was lucky I guess. My car sat at the port for almost 2 weeks and just missed the Asian Emperor. It got on the Turandot instead. It is expected at my dealership today.

My car waited over a week between "awaiting transport to port" and actually being loaded on a vessel. Your wait is common.

Took mine exactly 8 days before it hopped on a ship.

It's takes the ship about a week to cross the Atlantic?

From Bremerhaven to Baltimore took about 11 days.

It had to stop in Southampton in the UK before it made it's next stop in Baltimore across the pond.

Trip to NY is between 12 and 17 days depending on the stops. The Asian Emperor was supposed to be only 12 days but we all unfortunately know what happened there. MY ship the Turandot took 19 days because it stopped in Sweden, Belguim, UK and Halifax before getting to NY. My car finally arrived at my dealer today, and I am picking it up on Friday
