I have already changed the option Auto Start / Stop. And I have also activated the option to enable/disable daytime running lights in Settings/Light.

Next step, activate bmw live...

I too am a new F30 owner and am having a blast with the car!

I think the HUD is absolutely terrific and my question centers around that.

There are several items that are displayed at the bottom center of the dashboard when you press the button on the end of the turn signal stalk. How much of a drill is it to get that information displayed in the HUD?

Aside from that which you can already turn on via iDrive's settings (navi, entertainment, phone, etc) there isn't really much else.

What do you want displayed?

You cannot get the information from the BC Stalk displayed in HUD. Can't be done.

Unfortunately no.

As Frogman, and others, have stated previously you can code a car with Business Nav to display the screen but it is static.

I have only ever heard of the displays actually working on one car with Business Nav and it happened to be my first one which was a very early build.

We can definitely get the background screen to display, the meters just don't work / display in the US.

We think this has something to do with whether the car has navigation or not.

So theoretically, I guess it's possible that it will work on cars with 606 (Business Nav) instead of 609 (Professional Nav), but since 606 isn't available in the US, we don't have any way to test it here.

So, is there anyone out there that has 606 navigation that has been able to get the Sports Display to show the meter values in the smaller iDrive display?

The second theory is that this is engine dependent.
Was the car that worked a different engine then the one that didn't work?

With work I mean actually showing values not just static.

Could be that it only works on early builds though since I have heard atleast 2 people mentioning they got the displays to work on bus nav cars.
One F20 and one F30 which should be very similar. But I believe booth were early builds.

As I mentioned earlier, my car worked and it was an early build. The only other car, with Business Nav, I tried was a new one and it didn't work.

Both cars were F30's.
