Not bad. I paid $70 and they supplied the tape.

Here's mine. Sapphire black. Love the quality of it. Already got a lot of compliments about it.

I didn't apply the adhesion primer though. Has anyone else used that? Most of the reviews that I read said people just cleaned surface, prepped with the alcohol prep pad that comes with it and then just applied the tape.

Is there any chance of this thing flying off?

It is recommended to use it on the plastic (spoiler) because it helps the tape adhesive cure better. Plastic has oils in it and during injection molding they use a oil releasing agent. If you cleaned the plastic very good, then you should be ok. I rough it up a little with 300-400 grit paper, wipe with rubbing alcohol, then apply the adhesive promoter to the spoiler. Just use rubbing alcohol on the paint (car) side. Using this process is best.

You should be OK but like some others their tape lifts up. Especially since you are in Texas and I know how hot it gets there with a black car, you never know. The best thing is that since you used tape you can easily take it off and redo it if you notice it lifting up.

hmm dang. I wish i would have used it then. well, ill just be on the lookout for the tape coming off, and if it does ill just get some new tape and use the adhesion primer.

i remember when i got a bumper lip put on my other car, the mechanic used a heat gun on the tape. does this help with adhesion as well?

Mine is lifting on one end. Will be removing it soon and reinstalling it with better adhesive than the 3m junk that was provided.

Anyone want the spoiler for free? You just pay whatever shipping is. Getting no responses for a sale. So it's free! Unpainted version.

Just ordered this spoiler in Carbon Fiber for my AW 328 to match the other CF pieces I've added. $175 shipped and should get here in 2days so can't beat that!

Keep hearing about the edges lifting, so does anyone have suggestions on what adhesive to use to keep it in place.

Going to try a white one, and if it doesn't match, I guess I'll wrap it in carbon fiber or flat black.

Here's a couple shots of the spoiler along with the roof spoiler. Pretty easy to install. Just follow tips in this thread and take your time. Helps to have a helper when you put the spoiler on. Mark with painter's tape and once your sure it's perfect push down.

Does the carbon one has any brown in it? Or is it pure grey and back?

Debating if I go carbon or car color for my Havana sportline.. (Which I can't find picture of).

Mine is pure black carbon fiber with clear coat on top, which gives a gray and black appearance under light because of the reflections off the weave pattern
