Which light are we talking about here? The inner brake lights have a TSB out on them, I had mine replaced last time I was at the dealer for water collecting in them.

^what he said. You need to dry it out before swapping the seal. Clean the seal as that might have moisture on it too.
Butyl rubber glue tape is cheap anyway so if the seal is gone buy some or buy a new seal. |
