LED Reverse Light... Anyone have some installed?
I am interested in changing out the reverse lights to high power LEDs. Have anyone done this?
First bmw, and haven't touch any of the leds and light stuff. Not to familiar with the error free stuff. Also would a high power 5w LED reverse light be too hot for the reverse housing. I have high power reverse in all the other cars its so nice and bright when i back up. Last edited by UhhItsANT; 02-11-2013 at 12:53 PM.. |

its not the LED that gets hot its the transformer. CREE LED's are known to melt themselves if left on for too long without proper cooling. |

Thats your error check working. It passes a small current though the bulb and checks if theres a voltage difference. if there isnt it assumes that the bulb does not work and will give you an error code. because the LED bulbs use so little current, it will flicker during error check process. |

light checking happens constantly in our cars only way to fix it is to disable light check through coding |
