awesome mods
Hi Rich2k1,
Thank you for posting your mods and upgrades since January. The car looks awesome now and I am fully behind projects like this. There is, for a lot of people a huge restriction in being able to owner an M3/M4 or M5. I live in Asia and countries like Singapore and Thailand where I do business have impossible duty and taxation system pricing the M4 out of any reasonable limit. In Thailand I questioned the agent 2 days ago and I would be looking at close to USD $300,000 to get an M4 in my garage. You can see here an M3 in Singapore on sale for $266,000- So we either have to be billionaires or stupid to put this sort of money down. In contrast, non-sport models are considerably more reasonable all be it still expensive. The 435i is not available. All 4 series come with turbo'd 1997cc (1995cc in diesel) motors in diesel and petrol configurations. The base model coupe is USD $105,000. An M Sport with cosmetic modes is $111,500 in petrol and $120,000 in diesel. Not much of a choice. So in seeing your mods, at least finding out how much the mode parts are and getting the work done locally, which is of quite a good standard and cheap, gives one a chance at a decent looking car. Once we want to take the risk to kill the warranty we can mod the engines all we want, but in the mean time to have a 4 Series looking as nice as yours will be a one-off in these places. Thanks again for all the posts and I hope you could list all the OEM parts and other suppliers as I am not sure after following all your posts as to whether all panels are original parts or not.
