Came from BRZ Limited and now back into BMW. Got BRZ for what it was, a track toy that handles very well. Handled as well as the Porsche 996 I had.
Regardless, as some have already said, keep the BRZ, don't boost it, and save money. I got rid of mine because I got tired of people wanting to race me off the line at a signal, on the freeway, or just generally tailing me like I was towing him (the tailing stopped as soon as you enter a corner of course). Let me know if you have any questions. |

this forum is funny ... everyone basically telling you to keep the BRZ.
i don't really care, but i'll play devils advocate for a moment. Let's say the situation were reversed. You already have the F30, have a happy girl who likes your ride, and were asking the forum if you should trade the F30 to get a stanced out BRZ. the forum would likely rip you. I don't really care. Think it through and get what you want. If you can't fully commit and changing cars just doesn't feel right ... keep the BRZ. you're young and have plenty of time. If you're ready for a change and want to drive a BMW .. do it. |

If we were talking a 335 Msport with M sport brakes, staggered 18s and 6MT plus nbt nav, hk stereo, option 704 suspension and no vss, I would have suggested to take the F30 over the BRZ Forum advice is exactly what I expected from driving enthusiasts, and I'm glad to see a lot of people can put a badge aside and recognize a better driver's car when they see it |

If you're getting an F3x
Make sure it's a x35i Rwd And M Sport Or stick with the BRZ and have fun. Ride looks nice as is with the drop. Enjoy it while you have it Get the BMW when you can't stand not having it any longer lol (Im 21 years old).

^ True that. I came from a toyota sienna minivan (Lulwut) to a 14' 328i sport line, to a 335i msport+MPPK. Worked my way up. |

Looking back, I should have just gone for the E90 M3 in '08 instead of "working way up" through 328 and 335. |

I test drove a Scion FRS a couple weeks ago to see what the hype was and I wasnt impressed. With that being said, it was an auto so that kinda messed things up a little bit but it felt so underpowered that it distracted me from being able to appreciate the suspension. To get back to your original question, personally i dont like either option. However if I had to choose, I'd probably take the BRZ over the lux model 3.

Well, it also lets you learn about the car as well, some drivers I see buy a m3 or C63 as their first car and crash the damn thing because they can't handle the power, at least going from a 328 to a 335 you see the difference in power, then 335 to M3, your smile just gets wider.
